Thank. Network Drive Fails to Connect After Every Windows Login I have been having issues with a mapped network drive connecting everytime I log into Windows. I have to reconnect every time I log into Windows. I found something that suggested I check the services settings for Netlogon. The instructions I found said:. I cannot connect to the internet. My network and sharing center displays the following, instead of the map: Unknown The dependency service or group failed to start. I am running windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I used ESET NOD32 as antivirus. I uninstalled it the day this issue appeared. I have no restore point. Run the Validate a Configuration wizard to check your network configuration. If the condition persists, check for hardware or software errors related to the network adapter. Also check for failures in any other network components to which the node is connected such as hubs, switches, or bridges. When I try to connect to my wireless router via windows 7 I get prompted for the WPA2 key, then a Windows Security box pops up asking for Network Authentication and I need to enter a user name and password, I enter the user name I am logged in to Win 7 with and then the connection fails. how to correct media cannot be loaded because server or network failed or because format not supported This thread is locked. At that point I added the address space 10.4.0.0/16 and disconnected/deleted all network devices that were attached to 10.0.0.0/24. I was having problems modifying the subnet of our Virtual Network Gateway and the portal said that the change to the subnet failed but later when I checked the changes appeared successful. If network loss occurs, reduce the duplex setting and the speed to the previous settings. Swap the network cable between the failing system and the hub or switch. Replace the network adapter with a network adapter that has been tested and proven reliable. To do this, follow these steps: Remove the network adapter diagnostics program. The second IP is in a "Failed" status. In the Networks section, I have two cluster networks, the LAN network is enabled for cluster use, and the iSCSI network is disabled for cluster use. Here, both networks show as UP. In the properties of network 2, "Do not allow cluster network communication" is selected. I had to rename the iSCSI network as it had brackets in the name (thanks a to a now departed colleague!) which meant the PS scripts failed. Once I renamed it,I could tell the DAG to ignore the iSCSI network and the ClusterNetwork changed to 'passed'. I also increased the Cross Network Subnet thresholds.
